#FunFactFriday Many people with ADHD have a heightened sense of curiosity and love for exploration. Their brains are constantly seeking new stimuli, which often leads them to learn a little bit about a wide range of topics. This interest based learning can result in them becoming surprisingly knowledgeable in diverse areas, making them great at trivia or able to hold engaging conversations about many different subjects. #Neurodiversity #ADHDAwarenessMonth

The first time they’ve all been together, and really made me take a stock of just how far EventWell® has come in such a short period of time. SensoryCalm and our Quiet Room service turned 3 years old last month, and since September 2021 we have… - supported circa 9000 visitors - raised circa £200,000 revenue - consistent customer satisfaction score of 9.5 (out of 10) - current net promoter score of 97 for visitors, 80 for organisers - won best new supplier to the industry 2023 - won silver for best diversity & inclusion 2023 & 2024 If this doesn’t persuade you as to what a neurodivergent mind and collective team is capable of achieving, supported by the best people and the right environment! I am so proud of where we are right now and so looking forward to the next chapter in our amazing journey 🫶🏼. #Neuroinclusion #MentalWellbeing #AccessibilityInclusion #AwardWinning #TeamEventWell

Sunday afternoons mean community 💜. We’re here at Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust Horn Fair, at Charlton House and Gardens with CC Events, with a little piece of #SensoryCalm magic, even if it is a soggy and breezy one. Nice to be back at my old haunt giving back to our local community in Royal Greenwich 🫶🏼. EventWell® #Neuroinclusion #MentalWellbeing #CommunityEvents #SocialEnterprise

A touch emotional this morning, combination of loving what we do, a tiring and hectic Autumn event season, but also so so much love for Penny Moyses and the Clean & Tidy Home Show crew and community. We love partnering with this show, the people, the environment, the community, it’s all close to our hearts and minds. Even more delighted to be able to add our new #SensoryGarden space to our signature #SensoryCalm quiet room. It looks beautiful and really looking forward to seeing how people interact and enjoy the space this weekend. What a way to go into the half term break and holidays! 🫶🏼 #Neuroinclusion #MentalWellbeing #EventAccessibility #DiversityInclusion EventWell®

#FunFactFriday People with ADHD are often known for their spontaneity and sense of humour. Their quick, out the box thinking can lead to witty, funny and creative responses in conversations. This spontaneity can make them fun to be around and helps in generating fresh, unexpected ideas. Some people with ADHD even say that their impulsivity can contribute to their ability to entertain and surprise others with clever jokes and observations. #Neurodiversity #ADHDAwarenessMonth

Since 2017 we have worked tirelessly with the event industry, to create awareness and ensure that there are safe, supervised and accessible spaces for neurodivergent attendees at all events, and here is why: 88% of neurodivergent people feel event organisers do not understand enough about their needs. 85% of neurodivergent people have not attended events for fear of becoming overwhelmed or unwell. 28% of neurodivergent people have required mental health first aid support at an event, and only 9% of those found it easily available and accessible. Only 15% of neurodivergent people would feel confident approaching the event organiser for support. 82% of neurodivergent people would find a properly equipped Sensory and Quiet Room essential for sensory decompression at an event. 55% of neurodivergent people would want a trained and professional individual to be supervising any sensory or quiet space for support and assistance.
