FALCON COFFEES' DR MANDI CAUDILL: "Measuring biodiversity is complicated. As an ecologist who has spent years researching biodiversity on coffee farms, I understand the complexity of trying to put a number on biodiversity impacts. In our attempt to quantify impacts and at times, meet compliance, I am concerned that we are taking shortcuts and just measuring what can be measured but has no real meaning. Do we want to work to protect biodiversity or do we just want to say that we measured it?" https://lnkd.in/danxSUMs
