We're delighted to announce that we are now an awarded framework supplier on NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) - Design, Furniture and Appliances 2 Framework Agreement (SBS10246)   This newly launched framework allows the NHS and wider public sector to direct award, allowing for a quicker compliant route to market for urgent requirements and further competition for strategic projects. It's great to see positive results from a recent project with Integrated Care Northamptonshire, with significant reductions reported in ambulance callouts and admissions to hospital from falls in care homes. Moving forward, the Northamptonshire team aims to expand the project further into the community with support from East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust and their volunteer network, to reduce the number of unnecessary ambulance calls further and reduce the number of long lies in the community.  Full article here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eHmpTP9y

Great to work with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust recently to implement Raizer Lifting Chairs into their brand new dedicated falls vans, helping to improve response times to fallers across the city. By taking this approach to falls, the London Ambulance Service is: ✅ Improving patient outcomes and preventing long-lies ✅ Enabling faster ambulance response times to higher-priority calls ✅ Reducing pressure on the ambulance service and emergency departments Watch the video to find out more - https://lnkd.in/eTupbxpy

Waiting times in emergency departments are rising again this winter, and the risk of less mobile patients developing pressure injuries from long trolley stays is increasing. The knock-on effects? ❌ Worse outcomes for the patients ❌ Increase in care and staff resources required ❌ Negative impact on system pressure and patient flow Patients using the MultiFlow Stretcher benefit from dual auto-regression, improving pressure distribution and reducing the risk of pressure injury in busy emergency departments.
