FK Restoration have been appointed to completely refurbish 15 former MOD houses in Norwich. The project includes roof replacement, upgrading of all M&E services, exterior improvements, new internal fittings and all internal finishes. The project will be delivered in phases and fully complete by the end of September. It will be great to see these homes transformed for use by the local community. #restoration #residentialrefurbishment

Another completed project for McDonalds Restaurants, this time at Weston Favell. The drive-thru was refurbished throughout with new HVAC, lighting, finishes and fixtures within the restaurant, customer toilets and staff rooms. We were on site for only 6 weeks when we also upgraded the external façade, installed a new roof and improved hard landscaping. We're delighted with the result and glad that the customer is too. It took 5 weeks for FK Restoration to transform this McDonalds restaurant in Bangor. A very tight site required innovation and detailed planning to maintain site safety, quality levels and programme. We worked closely with neighbouring retailers and the local community centre to minimise any disruption and were grateful for their cooperation. A full internal refit of the restaurant including wholesale replacement of M&E services, finishes and furnishings was completed on time and with zero defects at handover. The project included amendments to the structure to increase the footprint of the kitchen and increase production space. The customer was delighted with the finished project and how much could be achieved in such a short period. A new motorsport facility at Silverstone. When Lola Cars decided to invest in new facilities they turned to FK Restoration to provide a Design and Build service. For this first phase of investment we worked with the customer to understand their requirements, prepared initial proposals and then developed these to full construction detail. FK were asked to manage all statutory approvals and provide a full turnkey fitout service. The first building handed over last week, on time and defect free. Our customer is 'over the moon' with the finished building that will be used to develop innovative motorsport technology. We're already working with Lola Cars on the next phase of this exciting development and are looking forward to working with them in 2024. #automotivetechnology #turnkeysolution #fitoutcontractor

Earlier this year FK Restoration delivered a refurbishment project for Batley Girls High School that includes a completely remodelled entrance and reception along with unisex WC's. The project was completed in the Summer term break to reduce inconvenience to the school staff and pupils. A challenging programme included the installation of new drainage, floor slab, structural amendments, plumbing, electrical and fit out. The customer wanted assurance that the facilities would be completed for the new term, a detailed programme linked to just in time deliveries and an excellent site team achieved a successful handover. Another successful project from FK Restoration for The Royal Parks. A vacant and partially derelict lodge, on Longford River near Bushy Park, has been restored for occupation. These 'before and after' images show the complete transformation of the structure, interior and external landscaping. A new driveway and fencing have improved access and usable space while structural amendments allowed the interior space to be upgraded. The whole of the external envelope was restored with new roof, repaired brick and reconditioned windows. Heating, plumbing and electrical installation have been completely replaced. Substantial insulation, plastering and new timber floors sympathetically modernised the building shell prior to a full fit out to a high standard including Herringbone engineered wood floors, new kitchen & bathrooms and decoration. Finally the basement was tanked and intermediate floor installed to create a new large lounge and usable storage space. We're thrilled with the finished building and are looking forward to working with The Royal Parks again soon.

FK Restoration continue their journey to excellence at McDonalds Ipswich Cardinal Park. Go-Live this morning with zero defects and to programme. A full refit and extension took just over 6 weeks and was programmed to minimise impact on the restaurant. When a project is well planned, with a collaborative project team, excellent results can be achieved.
