The team had a great time last week visiting Parkdean Resorts’ Trecco Bay site in Porthcawl, Wales.   It is these visits that provide our teams with further insights and inspiration, as well as a chance to immerse themselves in client work and build stronger relationships. With circa six months to go, the countdown to Hospitality Rides 2025 is on! This time, our MD Tess Pennington will joining the dedicated individuals cycling to raise money for Only A Pavement Away and the Licensed Trade Charity – both who do amazing work across all areas of hospitality, providing support and helping rebuild lives. The 2025 bike ride will see Hospitality Rides cycle across Taiwan, which is set to be the most challenging route yet. Yesterday, Priyanka and Samuel were on set filming a Working Together Project with The HEINEKEN Company and Better Wholesaling magazine (Newtrade Media), finding out how the supplier is helping and investing in the wholesale channel.📈 Customer director for wholesale Adam Turner spoke to Bestway Wholesale's group trading director Kenton Burchell on how depots can maximise sales of beer & cider during peak trading seasons through PoS, such as its latest Meet the Chillers activation, which gives retailers a chance to win branded uniform for their staff for Halloween.🎃👻 💡Did you know that Halloween presents a significant to drive sales, and in previous years, sales of beer & cider reached £127m in the total off trade during Halloween week!

In recognition of #WorldMentalHealthDay, we sat down for a ‘Tea & Talk’ session in the office. Our People & Culture team encouraged the agency to take some time away from desks and screens, grab some refreshments, to chat and a check-in with one another.❤️ At Fleet Street, we have a number of resources available to help support our team’s wellbeing and making sure mental health is a top priority, including an internal hub of Health & Wellbeing resources, Mental Health First Aiders within the team, access to Vitality Health and our 'Moments of Happiness' scheme. We love working with our trade partners to demonstrate tangible results, and over the summer we worked closely with brilliant Nisa Retail retailer kaual patel to see how we could help improve their no & low alcohol sales. Working with the fantastic Paul Gordon, The HEINEKEN Company UK’s customer director, the store’s no & low alcohol fixture was revamped- drawing on extensive knowledge and implementing a few simple principles, the store saw a 45% uplift in sales over a month period. It’s great to be able to connect our clients directly with influential retail customers, driving peer-to-peer advocacy as well as inspiring those all-important sales. Want to find out more about it?
