Through our matching process we review the needs of the mentee and look for a mentor to pair with. This could be based on skills or experience. The more information you provide us with the easier it is for us to match you together.

🎙️ Ask Flourish – our new series where we answer our most frequently asked questions. How much of my time with the mentoring program take up? We usually suggest a commitment of one hour per month for a 3-6 month period, depending on the needs of the mentee. When you come to the end of the sessions agreed, review your progress and both parties should agree whether you wish to continue, or whether you have come to a natural end.

He has some given us some great feedback about his experience and hopefully this will encourage many more of you to sign up and become a mentor! “It goes without saying that a mentor relationship should all be about the mentee but I’d totally underestimated the benefits to the mentor. I come out of our sessions in some sort of ‘mentor-high’ – quite honestly one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done!”

Cam, our founder, started the programme during the 2020 pandemic with the aim of supporting students looking to advance in the food industry.
