We’ve reached the halfway point on the final day of Food Matters Live Dublin. So far food and drink industry leaders have taken to the main stages to share their expertise in sustainable sourcing, positive nutrition and insights and trends. Discussions have focussed on pressing topics such as gut health, fibre, food and drink mega trends, sustainable sourcing and accelerating agro-ecological agriculture. The first half of the roundtable programme also ran this morning with partners AAK, KPMG and Finne Nutrition and Regulatory Consultancy, with Glanbia Nutritionals, Nomad Foods and NCNC Nutrition Consultancy joining the afternoon session. Discover the highlights so far from Day 1 at Food Matters Live Dublin! The day kicked off with a welcome from Thomas Hahlin Ahlinder, Kerry Europe and Albert McQuaid Ph.D, Kerry Group, followed by a panel with partners, Kerry, IFF and AAK who gave an insight into what was to come in their showcases. The partners then began their sessions, covering themes covering themes from bakery, beverage, culinary, low and no alcohol, chocolate and confectionery, plant-based, positive nutrition and more The main stage sessions ran alongside these, covering key food and drink content across sustainable sourcing, positive nutrition and insights and trends. So far the roundtable programme has seen KPMG and AAK share their thoughts on key topics through an in-depth discussion, with NCNC Nutrition Consultancy, Food Drink Ireland and Glanbia Nutritionals joining the programme this afternoon.
