We’re delighted to share some news! 400,000 happy customers have chosen FOW Car Supermarket for their new car over a period spanning 66 years! From our humble beginnings on the family farm in Holmes Chapel to a 15-acre hypermarket in Winsford, Cheshire. Alongside our recently announced Trafford, Manchester expansion, this is great news for our customers. We reached this milestone on Friday, February 21st 2025 when Michael Shiels collected his new car, a BMW X1. The Autoglym LifeShine cover slowly revealed Michael’s new car, along with confetti cannons, celebratory cake and gifts to celebrate this historic moment. Little did he know he was our 400,000 customer. Michael said “I’m completely overwhelmed, this is my 15th car from FOW and it won’t be my last! The service is always brilliant, and to be their 400,000 customer is simply amazing, thank you!” Reaching this milestone wouldn’t be possible without teamwork, driven by John and Edward Ford, the grandchildren of FOW Car Supermarket founder Vernon Ford. John said “I’m delighted to see our business reach this milestone. FOW continues to place high importance on family values, trust and customer care. Without our fantastic team, this wouldn’t be possible” With expansion plans in the pipeline, 2025 is the year to accelerate growth and unlock career opportunities. Our 500,000 target is in sight and on course within 7 years due to increased sales volumes and reputational management. Edward said “This is an exciting time for FOW! With our expansion plans accelerating, we’ve got a great opportunity to drive growth, personal development and customer experiences while setting our sights on the magic 500,000!” FOW is on the road to continue this success. After a successful 2024, we’re in a fantastic position to drive sales and customer satisfaction, establishing ourselves as the Car Supermarket of choice in 2025.

FOW has been supporting Hebden Green School for over 20 years, each year we have a Christmas Raffle to raise money for the school. December 2024 we raised £3,000. In the last 4 years alone we have raised a staggering £12,143 for the school. Thank you to all our amazing suppliers who donated raffle prizes this wouldn’t be possible without your support.
