Hippo Motor Group is a digitally driven nationwide car and finance company with a staunch commitment to excellent customer service and staff care. With a family history within the motor trade that dates back to the 1960s, we have grown exponentially by investing in our team, technology, and on-site facilities. Last week, we held a fantastic Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning to raise vital funds for those impacted by cancer. It was heartwarming to see our team come together, bringing in a variety of cakes, pastries, and sweets to support this important cause. This year, we introduced a little friendly competition—staff were encouraged to bring in their most creative (a.k.a. ugly-looking) cakes that tasted like heaven. We had prizes for the top 3 “worst-looking” yet delicious bakes, adding an extra layer of excitement to our fundraiser. Every penny raised goes directly to helping those in need, and we’re beyond grateful for the generosity shown by our staff this year. Our Hippo Fleet Solutions Team were fortunate enough to attend the recent “Unlock Productivity with AI” charity event in support of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone , which also launched their “Paint the Town Orange” initiative, a campaign designed to raise money for the youth in our community. A special thank you to Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone for organising this event and to Graham & Brown for their hospitality. The insights shared by Andrew Graham MBE, CEO of Graham & Brown, as well as Councillor Phil Riley, Leader of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Mo Isap from IN4 Group, and the teams from Amazon Web Services and Sundown Solutions, were invaluable and certainly resonated with everyone in attendance.
