This Monday we kicked off Neurodiversity Week with Compass Group UK & Ireland – Healthcare, with a presentation from Sam Hill (Job Coach) & Liz Halton (F2E Principal) to Darrent Valley Hospital's senior management, trust representatives and HR team. They introduced F2E and Supported Internships to staff and discussed our current interns at DVH. Jenny Fay (Patient Feeding Manager), presented a successful session on Neurodiversity to the staff within Medirest who is pictured beside the DVH interns. Jenny says: "Compass Group UK & Ireland and Medirest believe strongly that inclusivity is critical and that everyone should provided with opportunities in employment and the chance to grow their potential. Our Employment Engagement Lead, Tina Pincott, visited The Kent Business Show to meet with potential providers and businesses to collaborate with. The speed networking format was very effective, allowing Tina to connect with a wide range of industry professionals in a short amount of time, such as Alex Gilbert from UKPW - United Kingdom Pro Wrestling who is pictured with Tina. Lewis has been hard at work during his placement at St James Primary School on the Isle of Grain! For two days a week, he assists the caretaker with various tasks. Recently, he took measurements for new fencing at the front of the school, painted a wall, and even built a desk for the caretaker’s office!
