About us
We’re a business that understands when our customers and people succeed, our communities succeed, and our economy thrives. As part of our purpose, we’re looking at how we can drive change for our communities in enterprise, learning and climate. As one of the leading supporters of UK business, we’re prioritising enterprise as a force of change. We’re focusing on the people and communities who have traditionally faced the highest barriers to entry and figuring out ways to remove these. Learning is also key to our continued growth as a company in an ever changing and increasingly digital world. By setting a dynamic and leading learning culture, our people prosper, and our customers are given the tools to continue to improve their financial capability and confidence. One of the biggest challenges we all face in our future is climate change. That’s why we’ve put it right at the core of our purpose. We want to champion climate solutions with financing and entrepreneurial support, fully embed climate into our culture and decision making, and be climate positive by 2025. We’re committed to using our purpose to break down barriers, drive change and ultimately create a great place to work.

Massive congratulations to our Rainbow Network on its 20 year anniversary! For two decades the NatWest Group Rainbow Network, driven by thousands of passionate and committed colleagues, has been making strides to support our LGBT+ colleagues and customers and promote a workplace where everyone feels welcome. Members and allies of the network came together at a celebration event earlier this week, alongside sponsors Jen Tippin, Group COO and Tanvi Gokhale, MD of Customer Proposition & Journeys. We’re extremely proud to be celebrating this milestone and thank all our colleagues who have been part of the journey so far. #NatWestGroupRainbow

Raising funds for good causes is always something very close to our colleagues’ heart, and 2024 was a bumper year. The £4.1 million they raised around the world was more than in any year since 2018. And the 140,172 work hours spent volunteering was up a huge 12.3% on 2023. So thank you, from us. We can’t wait for what you’ll do in 2025. #Charity #Giving #Volunteering #LifeAtNatWestGroup

We want to change the way young people think about money and help grow their money confidence. With our own research showing us that two-thirds of young people say a lack of financial confidence would prevent them from achieving some of their life goals – we’re acting now to show the next generation we’re here to help. Our latest campaign, going live across our NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank brands, focuses on NatWest Rooster Money and NatWest Thrive – which help young people build self-belief and a positive money mindset. The campaign reframes the perceived effort of taking financial action from being big and potentially daunting to something small and achievable, and it aims to inspire viewers to grow their money confidence. From cinemas to social media, you’ll see it popping up across digital and offline channels soon. Check it out below and visit our youth hub for more examples of how we help young people to build better money habits: https://lnkd.in/epyheheF
