We are honoured that our Nuke CopyCat machine learning technology has been nominated in the Emerging Technology category for the 23rd Annual Visual Effects Society Awards! CopyCat puts the power of machine learning into the hands of VFX artists and was used on Dune: Part Two to turn the Fremen people’s eyes blue. Showcasing the true potential of machine learning in the VFX industry, CopyCat enabled the team to reuse the manual work from the first film to train their custom model and re-colour the eyes in a fraction of the time on the second film.
