It’s never an easy decision when all our Gold medal winners go head to head. All amazing products that impressed our judges for a variety of different reasons. The discussions were lively and there were many that made the shortlist which we then had to go into another round of even more lively discussions! Christmas Range of the Year sponsored by Oakland International Limited The ‘Range of the Year’ crown, as you may well have guessed from their rather impressive medal haul, is awarded to Tesco. Their comprehensive range of entries demonstrates just how much consideration is given to free from when developing products across their extensive portfolio. Whilst their bespoke free from range impressed judges with products such as their new Mint Thins and the return of their almost top 14 allergens free Honeycomb Bauble, there were just as many products outside of the ‘Free From’ brand that won favour too. This was especially evident across the Christmas Dinner category with a diverse and delicious array of entries from all manner of stuffed joints to pigs in blankets, stuffing and roast potatoes.
