Created in November 1994, this was the world's first web resource for professional charity fundraisers. It aims to use digital technology to help fundraisers improve their effectiveness. Training and consultancy for charities and social enterprises in: * digital fundraising (web, email, social media) * developing and enhancing social media presence Recent training courses include: * graphic traffic: how to create and use images and video for your digital fundraising * how to fundraise with Twitter * how to fundraise with social media We also run Fundraising Camp, a series of 'unconference'-inspired one-day events for fundraisers where fundraisers spend the day meeting, talking to and learning from dozens of other fundraisers, many of whom share the same challenges.

Good to see this initiative supporting charity archives and philanthropy records research. Researching voluntary and community organisations, charities, NGOs and philanthropy using organisational records: An interdisciplinary summer school for doctoral and early career researchers 15 and 16 July 2025, London This two-day residential summer school will provide doctoral, post-doctoral and other early career researchers with the opportunity to explore the use of organisational documents within research on NGOs, social movements, activism, voluntary organisations, community action and philanthropy. The aim is to build a community of researchers working in this area to enable ongoing peer support and development. Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales opens Racial equity programme fund for #SmallButVital charities and CIOs.
🔔 NEW FUNDING PROGRAMME ALERT! We are now open for applications from #SmallButVital charities and CICs, who are led by and working with people who are experiencing economic inequity because of their race or ethnicity. Under this programme, successful applicants will receive a grant of £75,000 over three years (£25,000 per year), along with a breadth of tailored support aimed at helping strengthen charities and building the knowledge, skills and capabilities of their staff and trustees.
