Great news just in from Manchester Metropolitan University - the Wolfson ACTIVE Laboratory is open and ready for research! 🙌
We are delighted that the new Wolfson ACTIVE laboratory at the Institute of Sport, in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, is open and ready for research! The Wolfson ACTIVE Laboratory will play a vital role in our mission to address the challenges of an ageing population. Key areas of focus include mobility, social connection, dementia, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal diseases, as well as chronic fatigue. The discoveries made in this lab will not only contribute to advancing our understanding but will also help shape and inform public policy and health practices both in the city-region and nationally. With thanks to our generous supporters The Wolfson Foundation, Garfield Weston Foundation and Gordon Taylor OBE for making this possible.
