Something different for a Feelgood Friday this week. This May Not Be About the Automotive Industry, But... Elon Musk and SpaceX Are Redefining Space Parts! 🚀🛠 While Elon Musk is known for Tesla, his work with SpaceX is equally ground-breaking. Recently, SpaceX made headlines by reusing a Falcon 9 booster for the 17th time, pushing the boundaries of rocket reusability. 🌍 The recent achievement of the first private spacewalk for Billionaire Jared Isaacman is a big leap toward Musk’s vision of colonising Mars! 🌌

It's Throwback Thursday! This week we go back to 2001, Futura were still operating out of the famous Garretts Green site near Birmingham Airport and during a particularly busy year, we were proud to support the design and build of the Bentley State Limousine for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 👑 Futura produced a half boarded model to present to the queen as well as supporting on the early clay modelling of the interior. A funny story, of our two founders David Abel and Graham Astbury, only one was allowed to visit the Queen. Knowing how important it was to Graham, Dave made the coin toss and despite winning, claimed Graham the victor to allow him to fulfil a lifelong dream. 🤝 In the boot there's a metal plaque with the names of companies who contributed, which Futura are proud to be represented. 🏅 #Futura #Throwbackthursday #automotivedesign #claymodelling #queenscar
