Our brilliant Consulting team, in partnership with North Somerset Council, have produced some impressive carbon reductions in the region. Via a second round of funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, 29 local businesses were able to access a free carbon survey from Future Leap that enabled them to apply for Net Zero Business Grants. The third round of funding for the renamed Green Business Grants has just opened, check your eligibility here: https://ow.ly/10op50VcJFz Six businesses including Paneltech Industries Limited, Walker & Ling, Outdoors & Active, Orriss & Low Optometrists were successful and have undertaken solar installation and/or air source heat pump projects since being surveyed, generating local energy and carbon efficiencies. Walker & Ling based in Weston-super-Mere successfully accessed North Somerset Council Green Business Grant funding last year and now have a shiny new solar array to generate electricity for their department store.
