There’s a buzz in the air this morning at The King's Fund annual conference 2024! The theme of Hope, Challenge, and Change was shining through all day yesterday, but reinforced particularly this morning with a suprise visit from the Secretary of State Wes Streeting and a talk by the Prime Minister, who spoke about the CHALLENGES exposed by the report on the NHS from Professor the Lord Darzi of Denham OM KBE PC FRS, the CHANGES they’d like to make in the 10year plan, and the HOPE for the future of our NHS. The PM spoke of 3 key reforms to achieve the 10year plan : 1. The move from an analog to a digital NHS 2. Moving care from hospitals to the community 3. A bolder move to prevention FutureNHS already plays a role in supporting all three of these reforms: 1. We are a pioneering tool in digitial collaboration across the NHS and health and social care. 2. We have numerous workspaces supporting the partnership of hospitals and social care organistions, enabling them to easily connect to colleagues across organisations to work together. 3. We have strong,active workspaces sharing research, case studies, and best practice focussed on prevention.
