Coty, which ranks among the world’s leading beauty companies with a collection of iconic brands in fragrance, color cosmetics, as well as skin and body care, has just surpassed its 2030 Scope 1 and 2 emissions targets. Indeed, it achieved an 82% reduction since 2019. All Coty-owned factories and distribution centers are now powered by 100% renewable electricity. Coty also made progress towards ESG goals, from achieving gender balance in leadership to setting new targets on packaging and water use by introducing its first water target to reduce water withdrawal. Beauty that lasts is Coty’s sustainability strategy, guided by the UN sustainable development goals. According to its FY24 sustainability report, the beauty company is committed to playing its role in protecting the natural environment while disrupting the beauty industry with new, different, and simply better products. Look back at curator Micol Ap, from Fellowship.AI sharing insights on finding a balanced stage time for both new and emerging artists, creating a richer digital art community for all. Back in 2021, right after the landmark Beeples sale, digital art saw an incredible influx of new creators eager to break into the NFT world. Recognising this need, Micol founded a 12-week online residency program to guide artists through the process—completely free and covering minting fees to ease the financial strain. The program has brought in curators and blockchain experts to offer invaluable knowledge to artists, some of whom have gone on to exhibit in top galleries and even museums.
