We are thrilled to share that Adrian Henry, GAC UK Head of Shipping, and Robert Balfour, GAC Bunker Fuels Bunker Trader, are taking part in this year’s 'Delting Up Helly Aa' as part of the main Viking squad, the Jarl Squad! Delting Up Helly Aa is the final fire festival of the year in Shetland, capping off a series of 12 festivals across the islands. Each year, the Guizer Jarl selects a group of family and friends to join them in creating authentic Viking suits and building a longship to burn during the torch-lit procession through the village of Brae. It’s a powerful display of community spirit, with local volunteers working tirelessly to ensure the festival runs smoothly and safely from start to finish.
