"A Bat Knows No Gender" – a simple truth that these cricketing legends have lived by. Jemimah Rodrigues, Ellyse Perry, Hayley Matthews, Chamari Athapaththu, and Marizanne Kapp sit down with Danish Sait to reflect on how a bat helped them break boundaries, shatter records, and redefine what’s possible. They’ve proven that cricket isn’t just a game for some—it’s for everyone. Explore their stories and witness how our Beyond Boundaries Initiative is creating pathways for the next generation to follow in their footsteps. On Friday, the International Cricket Council Women’s T20 World Cup lit up the Dubai International Stadium as India faced-off against New Zealand. During the match, we took over a stand to host over 500 girls from Dubai’s Indian High Group of Schools, giving them a front-row seat to witness the thrill of elite women’s cricket. It’s all part of our mission to make the game more accessible. Executives from our operations in the GCC were also in attendance: Alia Al Janahi, Vice President, Health, Safety & Environment, and Ebtesam Al Kaabi, Vice President, Sales Jafza. Our Smart Truck delivered the match ball, making it an unforgettable night! #SmartLogisticsBeyondBoundaries #T20WorldCup

At #UNGA79, the UAE became the 19th country—and the first from the Middle East—to join the High Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy (Ocean Panel), aligning with global efforts to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water. We are proud to support the UAE’s vision for sustainable ocean management through our Ocean Strategy that focuses on protecting and restoring marine ecosystems, building a Sustainable Blue Economy. With 3 billion people relying on the ocean for their livelihoods, we understand the vital role the ocean plays in combating climate change, sustaining biodiversity and driving social and economic opportunities. With 90% of global goods transported by sea, preserving marine ecosystems extends beyond environmental responsibility—it’s a pillar of sustainable global trade. As we embrace the UAE Year of Sustainability, we are committed to turning plans into action, supporting the #OceanPanel's ambitions in driving sustainable ocean management for a thriving Blue Economy: https://lnkd.in/dBNP4RAr

As we embrace the UAE Year of Sustainability and its theme, "Plan to Action," we are proud to contribute to the nation's vision of a greener, more resilient future through our latest partnership with The Earthshot Prize winner, Living Seawalls. At Jebel Ali Port, we are installing innovative marine panels designed to mimic natural habitats, creating spaces that encourage marine life to flourish on existing marine infrastructure. By implementing this project, we’re supporting marine biodiversity and contributing to the UAE’s vision for sustainable and resilient coastal cities. Following a successful pilot in Callao, Peru, we are excited to bring this initiative to Dubai and play our part in building healthier, more resilient ecosystems. Together, we’re turning plans into meaningful action for future generations. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/e-P-btnc

As we conclude our SDG Week across global offices, we reflect on the urgency to accelerate progress towards United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By building resilient supply chain infrastructure, particularly in emerging markets, we are advancing SDG goals such as poverty eradication, economic growth and climate action. Tackling economic challenges with innovative solutions is more important than ever. Our Chairman and CEO, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, recently spoke at the Observer Research Foundation panel, "A Tiger's Tale: Crafting a New Development Paradigm," on how trade can be a tool to drive economic growth, education and healthcare to promote sustainable development. He highlighted our key role in facilitating trade through investments in infrastructure, such as the Port of Berbera in Somaliland and the Maputo Corridor. These initiatives aim to strengthen local economies, improve market access and reduce trade costs, ultimately lifting millions out of poverty. Cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential. With the private sector contributing 70% of global GDP, we hold the key to building a more inclusive and resilient global economy. By working together across sectors, we can create lasting solutions that empower communities and protect our planet for future generations. #MadePossible #UNGA79
