Gee’s reposted this
We will soon be sharing some news on projects, that will raise your eyebrows and make you think and realise why we Gee’s have such a good name and reputation.
Gee’s are a company that directly employ their staff. Electricians, Telecoms (fibre/copper/wireless), Cyber consultants, etc We therefore have the ability to be reactive to requests that are not the normal BAU. If you have a project that your normal electrical or telecoms company are not able to help with, because; 1. They don’t direct employ and are therefore unable to resource, unless external casual labour is available 2. Adapting/thinking outside the box falls in to the too difficult category. Then please feel free to contact us and let’s have that conversation.

Another successful training day with St. John Ambulance. Well done Karl Gilmore and to everyone involved, including our very own Gee’s engineers and PM’s. It’s great to be part of the new Railway revolution that is happening in Wales and soon to happen in Mid and North Wales.

A huge milestone this morning, for as pictured, the first passenger service recommenced on the Treherbert Line. The line has been closed since last year while the teams have worked tirelessly to implement significant upgrades as part of the broader South Wales Metro. Works included new track loops, track switches, signalling, telecoms, civils interventions from new platforms to footbridges and almost all of the electrification system of which Metro vehicles will be powered. A truly collaborative team effort from Craidd Alliance partners, TfW Rail Ltd, Welsh Government, ORR, DfT, Network Rail and various ApBo and AsBos, our extensive supply chain partners; to name but a few. A specific thank you to the Entry Into Service team; this has been quite the journey and your dedication is nothing short of inspiring. Congratulations to all involved but most significantly, a thank you is extended to our lineside neighbours and commuters that have supported our transformation of their Valley Lines.
