That’s why we’re proud to introduce ‘Unapologetick’—a bold reminder to live this stage of life unapologetically. And who better to represent this message than our inspiring (and completely unapologetic) CEO and Co-Founder, Heather Jackson? Heather embodies the very essence of being unapologetic: consistently breaking barriers, championing mid-life, and empowering women to live boldly. She truly is the epitome of what it means to Live Your Best Menopause, and we're so proud to have her at the forefront of our campaign. Heather is dedicated to helping all women thrive during this stage of their lives and will stop at nothing until this is the case.     Last Friday was a true milestone moment for GenM. To mark World Menopause Awareness Day, we launched our most ambitious campaign yet, "Live Your Best Menopause," and took it to the streets with a bold activation. Fuelled by insights from our 2024 Visibility Report, revealing that only 2% of menopausal women are thriving while 71% of pre- and peri-menopausal women fear menopause, our campaign was designed to shift the conversation from fear to thrive. After five years, working with over 100 fantastic brands and retailers, and launching the MTick – the globally recognised shopping symbol for menopause-friendly products - we took our message directly to consumers for the first time. The campaign appeared across Leicester Square, Victoria Station, Digital screens in London and Manchester, as well as wrapping the London Metro and featuring on website takeovers across Metro.co.uk, and MailOnline. In total, we have reached over 16 million people. Our boldest campaign to date has done exactly what we set out to do: make menopause more visible. An emotional, empowering and fulfilling day. Here’s to changing the future of menopause and making today better than yesterday. This campaign is a huge deal for us—it’s our biggest yet! It’s all about giving women choice, trust, and visibility as they navigate this important stage of life.     On Friday, we proudly launched our inaugural 2024 Visibility Report, sharing key insights with our valued partners in the Collective. Inaugural because this is the first year our market research report takes on this title. Reflecting the progress the UK has made since 2020 in transforming the menopause landscape and shifting the conversation from invisibility to visibility. While GenM has made significant strides with our Retail and Brand Partners, our findings indicate that the work is still far from done. Although menopause is discussed more openly and has gained visibility in the press, media and across society, the average number of recognised signs remains low at just 5 out of 48. The lived experience of menopause has continued to worsen in 2024, reaching its lowest point since GenM began tracking the menopause landscape four years ago. We are asking brands and retailers to play their part in helping women find products that can be integrated into their lives, improving their lived experience.     We’re excited to announce our support for GenM Official’s Above-The-Line campaign, encouraging women to ‘Live Your Best Menopause’ this #MenopauseAwarenessMonth. Keep an eye out for the inspiring take over of the iconic billboards in Leicester Square tomorrow for World Menopause Day!    H&B was one of the founding members of GenM, stocking lots of brands which now also proudly display the #MTick logo, the universal shopping symbol for menopause-friendly products, including Wild Nutrition, Viviscal and Revive Collagen. The campaign’s mission, like ours at Holland & Barrett’s is to empower women to feel seen, supported and confident as they navigate their menopause journey. Earlier this year, we launched the H&B’s Women’s Wellness Commitment, through which, we support equity and access to menopausal support, ensuring that women from every background can access the advice and care they need. Rachel is on a mission to celebrate the “middle years” and inspire women to step out of their comfort zones and rediscover intimacy during menopause. “Menopause has been a journey for us as a couple. I’ve been open about my struggles with body confidence, and Mark has been incredibly patient and understanding. We’ve shared lots of laughs along the way and made our physical connection a priority. Let’s face it – we all deserve more date nights in our lives!” – Rachel Peru Mark adds: “Many people think intimacy fades with age.
