🚨 Gerald Edelman is pleased to announce the successful resolution of a #VATdispute involving #importation and #duty. #HMRC had unlawfully seized approximately £300,000 worth of goods from a client, which our team was able to overturn. Our Indirect Tax team has extensive experience in dealing with HMRC inspectors and effectively challenged HMRC’s decision, leading to the full release of the goods with no penalties or restoration fees imposed. This victory highlights the Firm's expertise in handling complex #VAT and duty-related cases, offering crucial #support to businesses facing similar challenges.
