🚨 It’s confirmed. Big changes ahead for non-doms in the UK! I’ve published a summary of the changes affecting #nondoms, as confirmed at the #AutumnBudget yesterday. These changes are set to take effect from 6 April 2025 and will significantly impact how #international individuals are #taxed in the UK. Key points: - The #remittancebasis will be abolished. - A new 4-year foreign income and gains (#FIG) regime will be introduced. - The Temporary Repatriation Facility will be extended to three years (an increase from the previous two year period), broadening its scope to include offshore structures. - Introduction of a residence-based #IHT system, eliminating the use of offshore trusts to shelter assets from IHT. Whether you're a non-dom individual or a tax professional, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions on these reforms. I’d also be interested to know, what are your thoughts on these changes? How do you think they'll impact the UK's attractiveness to international talent? https://lnkd.in/eXDjGGtJ

Cortez, where they discussed the current developments in the tax world in each jurisdiction. Whilst each country has their own legislation, the similarities that were discovered were fascinating!   Sonal also Co-Chaired the #WomenInBusiness Focus Group alongside Louise Lecanda, where the group shared stories and experiences over lunch.   All the while the team got to do some sight seeing and tuck into some delicious food.   As always, thank you to #XLNC for organising a great conference!   We’re looking forward to the next one in Monte Carlo…
