You will be a household claims expert, with excellent knowledge of subsidence, and the fraud aspects, and be looking for a leadership role that remains hands on. This will be a hands on role where you will have the opportunity to build and lead a pricing division within an established yet very ambitious organisation. Locality for this will be Leeds as a base, but can be remote with a degree of flexibility.     We recently published our Working Policy Results for the UK Insurance Sector. The report highlights how hybrid working models can significantly influence various aspects of organisational performance. Some of the key takeaways are: Quality of Hire: The report indicates that the quality of hire improves when companies either require no mandated in-office days or only one day with flexible core hours. In contrast, companies mandating full-time office attendance or fully remote work tend to see a decrease in hire quality. Productivity: Flexibility in working arrangements positively impacts productivity. Specifically, expecting staff to be in the office three days a week was found to be the least effective, potentially even reducing productivity. Conversely, allowing staff to work one day a week in the office resulted in increased productivity with minimal decline. Application Numbers: The number of mandated in-office days also affects the volume of job applications. Companies requiring staff to be in the office three or more days a week experienced a notable drop in application numbers. Staff Retention: The survey results underscore the importance of flexibility for staff retention. Organisations requiring employees to be in the office four to five days a week, especially with fixed hours, saw a significant decline in retention rates. These findings highlight the benefits of adopting a hybrid working model that balances flexibility with in-office requirements.
