We've been celebrating South Asian Heritage Month and using it as an opportunity for our people to get to know each other even more. Colleagues have been sharing photos of their travels, giving away their best recipes, and providing interesting facts about the different countries in South Asia. Thank you to Vijay, Max, Mel, and Swapna for giving us insight into their heritage and culture. South Asian Heritage Month seeks to commemorate, mark and celebrate South Asian cultures, histories, and communities. It seeks to understand the diverse heritage and cultures that continue to link the UK with South Asia.

We're highlighting to drivers that a popular car insurance 'hack' known as #Fronting - which is often seen as an innocent way to make car insurance cheaper - is actually #InsuranceFraud and has massive consequences! Shelley Comb, Intelligence & Investigations Manager at the IFB, said: “Fronting on car insurance is surprisingly common and because many people don’t realise it’s illegal, countless young people and their parents are implicating themselves in insurance fraud and uninsured driving, which has devastating consequences. “This is why as part of our Fraud Cons campaign we’re urging the public to avoid fronting. You should only be a named driver if you’re not the main user of the vehicle. Macmillan Cancer Support recently hosted a lunch & learn for Markerstudy colleagues. The session raised awareness and opened up conversations about Prostate Cancer – from symptoms, the demographics it affects the most, right through to supporting diagnosed people and those around them. Prostate Cancer affects men, but its impact reaches everyone. We would encourage everyone to be more open about discussing cancer with friends, family, and colleagues. Thank you Chika & Amy for sharing what you got up with your volunteering time.   All colleagues get paid time off to give their time to causes that matter most to them.   Our people can join in with an activity led by us, or choose their own way to give back.   Here are just a few things colleagues have been up to so far this year:   • Painting & refreshing food banks • Creating handmade cards for children in hospitals • Repairing, tidying, and cleaning outdoor spaces at local schools • Supporting animal rescue shelters • Stewarding at charity walks

Earlier this week, Markerstudy Group colleagues spent their volunteering day giving back to the most wonderful charity. Over 60 colleagues supported by making memory boxes and the precious items that sit inside. The memory boxes bring comfort to families and individuals who have been affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby or child. Such an amazing day. A huge thank you to everyone who took part, with a special mention to Bob & Tracey from 4Louis. 💙👣🩷

Auto Windscreens' journey of transitioning their car fleet to electric has been relatively simple compared to their 350-vehicle van fleet. They're using data from trackers to inform their strategy while making the most of exploring other options in the meantime.
