Working towards a world in which women of all backgrounds have fair and equal access to leadership.
About us
We work towards a world in which women of all backgrounds have fair and equal access to leadership. Chaired by Julia Gillard, the only woman to have served as Prime Minister of Australia, the institute brings together rigorous research, practice and advocacy to break down the barriers to women becoming leaders, while challenging ideas of what leadership looks like. The institute undertakes a range of activities designed to strengthen: • Research – drawing together existing findings and undertaking new studies. • Practice – using research to deliver evidence-based training and teaching. • Advocacy and engagement – bringing together experts and stakeholders from across the world.

📖 Our latest report shows that motherhood impacts not just women’s pay but also their job quality. Mothers are more likely to have lower control over their work, poorer prospects and less job stability, while fathers are more likely to be in jobs with high prospects and long hours We point to the causes of this gap and what needs to be done. ➡Read the report: https://lnkd.in/eHZ4JbiH
