  • "When he gets upset, he lashes out. But this space helped him stay calm in a way we’ve never experienced before." ☁️ Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity is proud to have funded a newly upgraded multipurpose space in the Day Surgery Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. The space has been designed to help patients feel calmer and more comfortable before and after their procedures. This vital enhancement ensures that young patients receive the best possible care. Since opening, the room has been in constant use, proving just how vital this enhancement has been for young patients and their families. Whether helping a child feel at ease before surgery or providing a peaceful space for recovery, this muti-purpose room is making a real difference every day. 💜 Thanks to the generosity of Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity supporters, children now have a space where they feel safer, calmer, and more in control during what can be a daunting experience.
