Clubfoot Research: "The perspectives of caregivers and health service providers on barriers to clubfoot management in Puri-Urban health facility in Ghana" Shariphine Agoalikum, Enoch Acheampong, Peter Bredu-Darkwa, and Sandra Bonah https://lnkd.in/esUgDq4V This study explores the challenges to clubfoot management in Ghana including: ➡️the high cost of treatment, ➡️long travel distances, ➡️inadequate trained personnel, and ➡️non-compliance with treatment protocols. Concluding, the study highlights the need for stakeholder engagement to educate parents and address the systemic issues in healthcare delivery. RunFree2030 is our strategy to scale up a proven set of interventions that address barriers such as those identified in this study so that all children born with clubfoot can walk, play and run free.
