What a fantastic day yesterday was for @crusmartwine and @globalwinesolutions_ 🛥️🥂🍾 Our CruSmart Wine Academy Level 1 took place at the fabulous at Monaco Marine !! This is a one day course and focuses on service & storage and winemaking techniques of key wine styles. We also look at important grapes, understanding wine labels, key vintages and food and wine pairing! The course ends with an incredible wine tasting experience and yesterday we opened 9 fine wines!! My students were fantastic, they felt more confident at the end of the course, found some new favourite wines and as well as learning lots, they had fun!! They are already keen to sign up for Level 2!! CruSmart Wine Academy is aimed specifically for Yacht Crew and touches on situations they are likely to come across when working onboard. We had crew from three different Superyachts, and they all left the course ready to wow their guests/hosts. Over just 4 days at Monaco Yacht Show S.A.M., our small but mighty team… 🚚 Delivered 766 bottles of wine to partners, clients and visitors. 🍷Poured 4,590 glasses of wine. 😮💨Washed what felt like 4,590 empty glasses. Our highlights included partnering with IYC - The International Yacht Company to serve MAÏA Côtes de Provence in the VIP Lounge, taking part in the “Art de Vivre” panel with Superyacht Foodie, Lucie Gardiner and Captain Grant du Preez plus working with The Pickle House | B Corp™ to spice up every morning with their iconic Bloody Mary mix🍅🥒 We brought happy hour to Hill Robinson everyday from 4pm and participated in the wonderfully organised “Meet the Experts” seminar alongside WASHDOWN, Neptune P2P Group, Superyacht Tenders and Toys and STILLA. Oh, we also fuelled some pretty epic parties on board spectacular boats like MY Akula with Jet Aviation x Graff, SY Bartali, MY Amaryllis and MY Asani 🍾🍷🥂 Huge thanks to Raphael Sauleau Nicole Perrin Steve Bailet Lena Reeves Kayleigh Liddell Hill Robinson Recruitment Patrick Kessler Romina Rastelli Elisabeth Bolger Florence Cherruault.
