Our Tax Partner, Alan Gourley, and Chief Economist, Andrew Webb, spent yesterday afternoon at the BBC talking about the Chancellor's Autumn Budget earlier this week. Alan discussed the recent changes to IHT. While there has been a focus on the impact of these changes on the Agricultural sector in Northern Ireland, these updates will impact all family-owned businesses, making them even more significant to the Ni business landscape. Andrew covered the Budget more broadly, starting with whether it was good, bad or indifferent for Northern Ireland before considering how the NI Executive can make a different with the additional £1.5 billion in funding.
