As of yesterday (18th March), businesses that meet the criteria can now register as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) with Companies House. This new requirement ensures compliance with regulatory standards for corporate service providers and is anticipation of the introduction of ID verification on 8 April. An authorised agent can be a business (for example, a limited company or partnership), or a person who files on behalf of others (sole trader). To register, agents must be supervised by a UK Anti-Money Laundering (AML) supervisory body. For example, this could include: ·       company formation agents ·       solicitors ·       accountants If you believe this applies to your business or have any questions about the registration process, our team is here to assist you.
