I'm happy to report our LSE Grimshaw Club for International Relations Mongolia delegation was a great success! As Mongolia’s neighbors deepen and broaden influence in the region, amidst a watershed domestic election on June 28th, this trip was particularly timely and impactful.
A huge thank you to trip co-leader Evan Jones and all of our participants and now great friends - Andrew Smith, Gauri A., Sophia Macomber, Rahini Takalkar, Ellena Fesquet, Jack August McEachern, Olivia Olson, Bartosz Dzwierzynski, Jamie Y., Alisha Menon, Ruben André Haug, and Jan Młynarczyk - for bringing a willingness to engage and adapt and support the overall smooth execution of the trip. Was a blast!
I’d like to further thank Erdene Elbegdorj and his team at the Elbegdorj Institute – most notably, Purevjargal, Zolzaya, and Buuvei – for great partnership, advice, and additional support for portions of our trip and its itinerary. Their hospitality was unmatched and hopefully the start of an enduring friendship!
