Say it with us: “It’s okay to feature products in your B2B content...” Honestly? It’s more than okay. As long as it’s tactful. (Otherwise, you’ll come across too “salesy” and push buyers away 👎) Done right, product-led content builds trust and authority. It improves user acquisition, retention, and revenue. You just have to: –Put user value first 🫰 –Tie products and features to specific problems 💡 –Speak with experience and expertise 🎓 –Target the right keywords 🔎 (…and find a great screenshotting tool.) In our latest article, you’ll learn how to create product-led content without sacrificing engagement. And more importantly, how to grow sign-ups and loyalty. Customer profile stories are incredibly shareworthy. If you've done your job well, one interview can capture: 1. Customer profile stories, 2. User stories, and 3. Case studies Produce all three at the same time and interlink them. This way, you're capturing attention and educating users with similar challenges at all stages of the funnel. It's just one of many ways to build a content strategy that doesn't copy your competitors. Learn how to create engaging customer profile stories and case studies in Ronnie Higgins' recent webinar. How can content marketers bridge the gap across teams for better collaboration? Immerse yourself in understanding the needs of other departments. From a place of deep understanding, you can more easily see gaps where your content can help teams on projects. For instance, if you're liaising with the sales team, start by asking: ➡️ What are your needs? ➡️ How do you do a sales call? ➡️ How do you follow up after a sales call? ➡️ Would it be beneficial if you send a PDF with your 'thank you for attending the demo' email? Understand their world and then you start working from there. Learn more about Anja Simic's approach to content marketing and how she builds and scales content with workflows for Deel in her recent Grizzle webinar. Click the link to watch in the comments ⬇️

'Decisions are made in Slack and in other private channels[...] executives share really good articles over internal email newsletters. They'll say "we need to read this. This is something that we need to do". That's the goal. You want to be discussed in channels you can't track. The untrackable channels... Are the ones where those conversations are actually happening that are going to move to you actually making money" Get more tips from Tommy Walker and learn about his Three Axioms of Content Marketing in our recent Grizzle webinar. "Where projects go wrong is when communication dies, essentially" ➡️ If you want content production to go smoother, always keep an open line of communication. Client needs to talk to the agency or writer, the writer needs to talk to vice versa ➡️ Writers, if you're overworked, a client would rather have you say, 'could I please have one more day on this so I can deliver the highest value draft' than you delivering something at the due date, but it's terrible because you rushed it and it's going to take double the time to edit it 💡Communication always, all the time💡 ^Tips on the importance of communication from Grizzle's Head of Content, Erica Schneider.
