In 2025, the significance of a curated space is more crucial than ever, emphasising that one size never truly fits all. A challenge arises: How well does a current / previously fitted space serve an entity considering relocation? Here's a perfect example, where Marks & Clerk would not be able to operate as a business without confidential spaces - https://lnkd.in/eiivUyjD Thoughts? #habitaction #workplacestrategy

A little download from Murray with his key takeaways from Savills Future Space Event this week. Take a look.
Had a great time this morning at the 8th Savills Future Space Event exploring the future of Industrial Property with Tritax Big Box. Savills presented the results of their annual survey with their partners Analytiqa which revealed some interesting themes! A few key takeaways from me were: - Positive market sentiments with a lot of businesses saying they see market conditions as more favourable than last year. - Rising cost of labour is driving demand for automation, but it’s hard to adapt older spaces for robotics. - Business growth is the primary driver for businesses requiring additional space - Power availability is the biggest challenge for new developments due to the high demand from Robotics, temperature control and EV requirements for industrial space. - Staff wellbeing, labour availability, and sustainability are top priorities for occupiers. Sustainability is a key challenge. - Clare Bottle of UKWA highlighted that only 5% of UK warehouses currently have solar panels. - A concern was raised around the lack of an energy strategy from the government making it challenging to plan for full EV roll outs. Lots happening in this space! #Fitout #Events #HabitAction #IndustrialProperty #Automation #Sustainability

A CAT B Turnkey Fit-out for their UK HQ, KNSI Aviation Engineering approached us with a vision to redfine their workplace. With aspirations to grow their business and expand their team, they required a space that could accommodate their ambitions and reflect their innovative ethos. Their journey with us began with a detailed workplace strategy that highlighted the limitations of their previous office and revealed the need for a pupose-built facility. The brief included the fit-out of a warehouse and engineering workshop, coupled with modern office spaces and versatile meeting rooms. The two-storey layout featured office areas on the upper floor and collaborative and client-facing spaces on the ground floor, reflecting the company's dual focus on productivity and engagement. KNSI’s new facility has transformed their operational landscape. Key benefits include: 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺: The purpose-built spaces have streamlined workflows, allowing teams to operate at peak efficiency. 𝘌𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘦 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵: The modern and functional environment has significantly boosted office attendance and employee satisfaction. 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦-𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨: The scalable design supports KNSI’s growth ambitions, ensuring the space evolves with their needs.
