Ian Holme, Richard Woodcock and Jordan Hoggett ACIAT recently visited the Torsion Care site in York. It was fantastic to see the building finished and ready to welcome residents in the coming weeks. They were really impressed with the finished build externally and the quality of the interior decor, in particular with the blend of materials and finishes used which create a luxurious yet homely feel. ✨ EXCITING NEWS: A New Luxury Care Home completed by Torsion Care We’re thrilled to announce the completion of York Manor Care Home - a luxury 73-bed, dementia-friendly facility located on Blue Beck Drive, just north of York city centre between Rawcliffe and Clifton. This state-of-the-art care home will be operated by the experienced operator Tanglewood Care Homes, as part of our joint venture. York Manor Care Home has been meticulously designed with a focus on ESG, quality and comfort. Every detail, from the layout to the colour schemes, has been thoughtfully considered to create a supportive environment for residents living with dementia. Our commitment to ESG has delivered an EPC A-rated care home, approaching net zero with a score of 8. This approach allows us to deliver specialised care in a homely and luxurious setting where residents feel safe and at ease. We are proud to announce another successful planning decision delivered for Exemplar Health Care. Located in Stroud, this 38-bed care home for adult living with complex needs was consented at a planning committee hearing following a recommendation for approval. During the planning process several CGIs were produced to help communicate the design which sits on a dynamic site located within the local community. Construction is due to begin in the new year and we are looking forward to working with the rest of the team to bring this project to life.
