#TeamHL are proud to be sponsoring this month’s Gloucestershire Property Forum, which will be held next Thursday in Cheltenham. We’ve been invited to join the discussion panel, where Carolyn Quinn will be among the experts discussing market considerations and major commercial developments in the county. Held at a private screen at Tivoli Cinema and hosted by GPF Chair David Jones, the forum is an excellent opportunity to both gain insight about the sector and network with the property community. Tickets are still available via eventbrite. The Property Forum #gloucestershirepropertyforum

How time flies! It’s been 10 years since Stoford Developments Ltd commenced work at the fantastic #WorcesterSix business park, and they’ve chalked up some incredible achievements along the way. Having acted as retained agents for the scheme throughout, we’re excited to see what the future holds for Worcester Six and the #worldclassworcestershire it is helping to shape. Charles D'Auncey MRICS says: “Worcester Six has been a pleasure to be involved in since its inception. It is a standout Development success for both Worcestershire and the West Midlands. We have attracted occupiers from many different sectors and locations, ultimately creating a fantastic and diverse working environment. I am looking forward to continuing the success of attracting new occupiers to the Business Park and to this part of the Midlands.”
Having been involved with the Stoford Developments Ltd team and the superb #WorcesterSix Business Park since its inception, I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. It truly is an outstanding commercial development and one I’m proud to be retained on. Congratulations to the team on this landmark, and I look forward to seeing the park continue to evolve and to further deliver on its reputation for attracting world class occupiers to the region. #WorldClassWorcestershire Harris Lamb https://lnkd.in/e7tcwknA

Congratulations to Network International Cargo on securing a Coventry warehouse as it looks to expand its logistics operation. Neil Slade and Ashley Brown MRICS were instructed to let the unexpired lease on Unit 5, Cyan Park, a 27,900sqft modern warehouse located on an established business park off the A444 in Coventry. Further to assigning the lease to the logistics specialist, Neil said: “It is encouraging to see that demand and take-up for good quality mid-box units throughout the Midlands remains strong despite recent headwinds. “This property quickly progressed from marketing stage to completion with minimal void and with a general undersupply of similar opportunities, we are seeing keen interest in similar industrial properties across the region.” https://lnkd.in/e6crHEvU

James Ward CBII and Gavin Adams MRICS of our Licensed and Leisure team paid a visit to the 2025 Northern Restaurant and Bar Show at Manchester Central yesterday to present a united front and show their support for the sector as members of the BII. James, a Companion of the organisation, spent some time with BII CEO Steven Alton CBII discussing the plight of pubs and bars in light of the current government’s slashing of aid to the sector regarding Business Rates and the lack of details on its future stability, while Gavin and Pubs Code Adjudicator Fiona Dickie’s topic of note was trigger events on leases and Material Changes of Circumstances for appeals against Rateable Valuations! All in all, a valuable day of sharing support, insight and opinions! #BII #businessrates #pubssector

💥 Fantastic work by our investment agents, who oversaw the acquisition of a multi-let Birmingham office building for a serviced office specialist for £3.75m.💥 2 Devon Way, a 29,479 sq ft office in Longbridge with excellent green credentials and connectivity, was part-vacant, and the purchase price reflected a net initial yield of 10.06% and an anticipated reversionary yield of 15.74%, upon the 10,000 sq ft void being let. Justin Marshall said: “The location and quality of the building plus the fact that 10,000 sq ft of the space was vacant and immediately available for UKO Serviced Offices’ own occupation, was quickly met with keen enthusiasm.” #investment #acquisition #birmingham https://lnkd.in/dMvgfrHb

Excited to share the successful completion of the office fit out project I lead at Lyndon House, Birmingham.
💥 Our Building Consultancy team has unveiled a spectacular fit out project overseen for Norton Insurance at its new office on Hagley Road. 💥 Having taken on the seventh, and part of the sixth floor of Lyndon House, the business appointed Harris Lamb as Principal Designer. 💥 Lachlan Macphail says: “Norton Insurance wanted a new office space capable of delivering optimal connectivity, maintaining operational efficiency and good working environment to suit the business’ requirements. With the space being configured to accommodate around 70 people, it needed to be spacious, stylish and suitable for the needs of all employees and visitors.” https://lnkd.in/e3jUv8gH

👏Super achievement for andy smith of our Professional team, who saved one of our clients more than £1.5million over a five-year period following rent review negotiations.👏 The team oversaw rent review negotiations on Eurocell’s Derbyshire distribution centre on its behalf, securing a reduction of £300,000 a year on the landlord’s initial quoting rent; ultimately a £1.5 million saving over the new five-year term. Andy said: “There has been a significant increase in industrial rental values over the past four years and this clearly demonstrates that there is a real benefit to both landlords and tenants in seeking professional advice on rent reviews and lease renewals. As is the case here, the results can make a significant difference to a business’ bottom line.” #rentreview #expertadvice https://lnkd.in/egz7WEWa
