  • Congratulations to Network International Cargo on securing a Coventry warehouse as it looks to expand its logistics operation. Neil Slade and Ashley Brown MRICS were instructed to let the unexpired lease on Unit 5, Cyan Park, a 27,900sqft modern warehouse located on an established business park off the A444 in Coventry. Further to assigning the lease to the logistics specialist, Neil said: “It is encouraging to see that demand and take-up for good quality mid-box units throughout the Midlands remains strong despite recent headwinds. “This property quickly progressed from marketing stage to completion with minimal void and with a general undersupply of similar opportunities, we are seeing keen interest in similar industrial properties across the region.” https://lnkd.in/e6crHEvU

  • James Ward CBII and Gavin Adams MRICS of our Licensed and Leisure team paid a visit to the 2025 Northern Restaurant and Bar Show at Manchester Central yesterday to present a united front and show their support for the sector as members of the BII. James, a Companion of the organisation, spent some time with BII CEO Steven Alton CBII discussing the plight of pubs and bars in light of the current government’s slashing of aid to the sector regarding Business Rates and the lack of details on its future stability, while Gavin and Pubs Code Adjudicator Fiona Dickie’s topic of note was trigger events on leases and Material Changes of Circumstances for appeals against Rateable Valuations!     💥 Our Building Consultancy team has unveiled a spectacular fit out project overseen for Norton Insurance at its new office on Hagley Road. 💥 Having taken on the seventh, and part of the sixth floor of Lyndon House, the business appointed Harris Lamb as Principal Designer. 💥 Lachlan Macphail says: “Norton Insurance wanted a new office space capable of delivering optimal connectivity, maintaining operational efficiency and good working environment to suit the business’ requirements. With the space being configured to accommodate around 70 people, it needed to be spacious, stylish and suitable for the needs of all employees and visitors.” https://lnkd.in/e3jUv8gH

  • 👏Super achievement for andy smith of our Professional team, who saved one of our clients more than £1.5million over a five-year period following rent review negotiations.👏 The team oversaw rent review negotiations on Eurocell’s Derbyshire distribution centre on its behalf, securing a reduction of £300,000 a year on the landlord’s initial quoting rent; ultimately a £1.5 million saving over the new five-year term.
