Today we're baking Cheese Scones! Baked with premium cheddar from the West Country.

We're Exhibiting! Our Sales Managers, John and Ian, are at Platform Events UK at Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5 today and tomorrow. We're looking forward to chatting scones and snacks with some potential new customers 😀

Behind the scenes... Here's Robert, our New Product Development technologist, working his magic on some new recipes for one of our customers. We recently invested in a new state of the art NPD kitchen where our fantastic NPD team create new and bespoke products 😊

It's Monday morning and today we're baking Mini Cheese Scones 🧀 Here is our Director, Luke Padgett, doing some quality checks and making sure our scones are evenly baked.

Have you heard? Whilst we are known for our scones, we also produce a range of mini biscuits, breadsticks and snacks under our brand nibnibs. nibnibs snacks are available in a range of savoury and sweet flavours such as coconut, orange & cranberry, vanilla, shortbread, ginger, pesto, sun-dried tomato and cumin. Happy Monday everyone! We're trialling another new product - Tiny Scones. These are the smallest scones we do at only 20g each. Dangerously snackable 😆

Our first production of Vegan Scones! Vegan scones have been on our radar for a while, so we’re very excited to now be producing them for a new customer. These will be available in both Plain and Sultana flavours.

It's just two days to go until National Cream Tea day on the 28th June. Make sure you save the date! 😍

Meet the Team: Mark Mark is our Operations Manager here at the bakery and actually has a work anniversary this month - he's now been with us for 28 years! Mark first started off working here as a Packing Operative as a summer job in 1995, and was quickly promoted to Supervisor. From there he became one of our Team Managers, looking after a team of around 30 staff, and finally to become our Operations Manager where he manages all our Packing, Production, Warehouse and Hygiene Teams. Another key part of his role involves planning the baking schedule for all our products to make sure they get to our customers in time. Mark ensures that every part of the process runs smoothly- from as soon as the order comes in from our customers to when the products leave our warehouse. We wouldn't be able to do it without him. In his spare time he enjoys keeping fit by playing football and going to the gym, cinema trips (his fave film is Black Rain), and holidays with his family. Happy work anniversary, Mark :)
