We’re delighted to have supported the launch of the Lowestoft Healthy Hearts programme. The SiSU Health UK health check machine will allow people to undertake a free, self-service health check in less than five minutes, helping to identify those who have high blood pressure and may need further support.
The Lowestoft Healthy Hearts project officially launched from the Lowestoft Library this morning. The purpose of today's event was to raise awareness of the key messages associated with the project, especially the often hidden risks associated with hypertension, and how residents can check their blood pressure. The event was centred on the brand new SiSu health check machine which is now based in the library and the Wellbeing on Wheels bus that was parked nearby. This project has been funded by our Public Health and Communities Directorate in partnership East Suffolk Council Health Innovation East and NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB Digital
