Dorking, you turned UP today! 🍩 Because none other than Romesh Ranganathan joined the Coughlans team behind the counter this morning. The buzz was incredible, and before 10.30am, the legendary Ranga Yum Yums were all snapped up, and the queue stretched right along the High Street! Of course Romesh brought the laughs, and took time to chat, joke around, and snap photos with fans. Were you there? Don’t worry if you missed out, he's promised to return for another stint as a staff member soon! In the meantime, Coughlans is serving up their delicious baked treats daily, although you might have to pop in early if you’re after their Yum Yums! Thought Dorking was just a sleepy Surrey town - think again! Big changes, same great pub! Because there’s a new face in charge of the bar at The Kings Arms - introducing General Manager Rachel Rachel arrived in October, during the West Street’s road closure and planning for Christmas - nothing like diving straight in! But now she’s ready to give her all to this historic Dorking pub. She’s joined by new assistant manager Duncan and a brilliant team, including a few familiar faces (some have been part of The Kings Arms family for over 10 years!). Passionate about live music, Rachel is keeping the Saturday night music tradition alive with fresh, exciting acts. This weekend, The Farleys take the stage - a band that hasn’t played in Dorking for over 20 years!
