Jordan Devlin from our Tax team spent his volunteering day with Refuweegee, helping set up Refuweegee’s new home in George Square alongside Megan Richardson from Scottish Enterprise, organising donations so that those seeking refuge can access essential supplies and clothing. Refuweegee is a charity that provides a warm welcome to forcibly displaced people arriving in Scotland. Thanks to the generosity of people in Glasgow and beyond, Refuweegee has delivered over 10,000 community-built welcome packs and emergency support packs to those in need. ❤️ Well done, Jordan! Today, our colleagues Margaret Linn and Jacqueline Watson spent their volunteering time supporting Dundee Bairns, a fantastic charity dedicated to helping local children facing poverty and hardship. Dundee Bairns provides meals, snacks, and activities during school holidays to ensure no child goes hungry, while also working with community groups to support the well-being of disadvantaged young people. Alongside volunteers from Digby Brown Solicitors, they sorted through donated household items, helping to ensure these essentials reach children and families who need them most. A huge well done to Margaret and Jacqueline for giving their time to support such an important cause! ❤️ #Volunteering #DundeeBairns

💪We are incredibly proud that Henderson Loggie is one of only nine firms in the UK’s top 100 accountancy firms to report having 40% or more female Partners, as highlighted by Accountancy Age in their last report of 2024. We are also extremely proud to have Shona Campbell as the Chair of our firm, who is one of only a small percentage of female Chairs in the profession. In 2023, we were included alongside only seven other firms and recognised by Accountancy Age as one of the top firms leading the way in gender diversity in accountancy. The results for 2025 will be released later in the year. The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is Accelerate Action. While it's encouraging to see some progress across the industry, we know there is still more work to be done.
