🎃 Happy Halloween weekend! 🎃 Yesterday, we had the pleasure of catering a Halloween party for Confluent featuring a festive menu by Chef Doni Ramalho: On the menu, we had: 🧀Amputated Arm Cheese and Ham Roll: Cream cheese wrapped in Parma ham, shaped to resemble an “amputated arm” and served with crackers. 🎃Pumpkin Hummus Sliders: Mini buns filled with homemade pumpkin hummus, crispy falafel, fresh greens, and a hint of harissa. 🥑Pumpkin Guacamole: Served in a carved pumpkin with a side of nachos. 🍩Spooky Doughnuts: Classic glazed doughnuts decorated with ghostly powdered sugar faces. 🍹We also provided a selection of Halloween-inspired cocktails and mocktails! 🎉 We recently had the incredible honour of being selected to pitch at the 💷 First Money In event, part of London’s largest Demo Day, hosted by Rare Founders and Vasily Alekseenko. Out of 1,000 startups, Hey! Food is Ready was one of only 9 handpicked by Chris Howard to pitch in front of angel investors in a high-stakes, Dragon’s Den-style showdown—where investment decisions were made on the spot. 😮 Real-time, live-fire decisions from investors—no turning back. 🤗 Immediate funding and instant credibility from top-tier investors. 😎 Founders pitch for guaranteed, real-time investment. And the best part? As part of our exhibition Homo Viator, we partnered with Hey! Food is Ready and Noiascape to bring Palettes & Palates to life! 🍴 Palettes & Palates blended art, food, and creative connections, offering guests an evening of delicious fusion canapés by Y E Leong while sparking conversations over art. We recently took a creative leap, exploring how to combine food, art, and unique spaces to foster meaningful connections. Partnering with Willow Art Space and Noiascape, we co-hosted an intimate event called Palettes & Palates where guests had the opportunity to meet talented artists, enjoy incredible Malaysian food and engage in a beautiful, inspiring environment at Noiascape High Street House. At the end of the event, we invited everyone to express their creativity by decorating a pandan cake made by Chef Y E. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this special experience! We’re excited to explore more opportunities that connect people through food, art, and culture. Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to pitch at Rare Founders Demo Day as one of the Top 100 startups selected for this amazing event. It was a celebration of entrepreneurial energy, organised for the second time this year by Vasily Alekseenko. One hundred of the UK's most promising startups came together to share their game-changing ideas with investors and industry leaders. I am so happy that Hey! Food is Ready has been selected as one of them, pitching at the marketplace stage! In addition to pitching, the masterclasses on fundraising, sales, and market expansion were also very insightful!
