Highlights include: 💡 a fireside chat with Hg's David Issott, discussing leadership and what makes a business-minded lawyer 💡 panel discussions featuring insights from: - Kristen Benadom (Nitrogen), Lisa Maxwell (FE fundinfo), Merritt McGowan (Rhapsody), and Thomas Christiansen (Trackunit) offering reflections from the frontline and learnings from the past - Jesper Alwall (IFS), Thomas Ségal (Gen II Fund Services) and Vanessa De Waele (team.blue) in a discussion of the role and value-add of in-house lawyers in M&A 💡 after a networking lunch, we resumed with a fireside chat on building a winning partnerships with sales, featuring Ideagen's General Counsel Stephen Thompson and Chief Revenue Officer James King, moderated by our Portfolio CRO Matt Gallagher 💡 the highlight of the afternoon was a keynote session by Sarah Furness, a former RAF combat helicopter pilot and Squadron Leader. Sarah shared her experiences of embracing vulnerability and thriving in uncertainty - valuable takeaways for all our resilient leaders 💡 the day concluded with a panel discussion on leaning into vulnerability, moderated by Sarah Furness and featuring experiences from Kristen Shaheen (Revalize), Pat S. Last week we held our 10th annual NL Tech Dinner. We reflect not only on a great evening with some of the Netherlands' top tech entrepreneurs but also over a decade of continued strong activity and innovation within the Benelux region as well as long-lasting partnerships. We are excited to announce our latest partnership with ReDI School of Digital Integration, supporting 750 places on its Digital Careers Programme in Hamburg over the next 3 years. With only 20% of refugees securing a job in Germany after two years of arriving in the country. ReDI aims to accelerate integration into the job market by providing participants with digital and soft skills, working alongside a network of tech leaders, students, and alumni to help identify employment and training opportunities. The Hg Foundation’s €500k grant will support the growth of ReDI’s Digital Career Programme in Hamburg, which has seen demand quadruple since its launch in 2022. FE fundinfo strengthens its financial advice offering through its acquisition of AdviserAsset. This acquisition will expand FE fundinfo's due diligence capabilities and will better help financial advisers successfully guide their clients through investment decision-making. Last week our Munich office hosted a group of 25 investors representing 20 leading PE and Growth funds for a relaxed wine tasting at WEIN-MOMENT München.   We enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with our network in an informal setting, make new connections and hear different perspectives on the current investment climate across Tech & Software in DACH.   Thanks to everyone who joined – we look forward to next time!
