The High-Speed Rail Congress is now behind us — the first event of its kind in Poland dedicated entirely to high-speed rail, covering both rolling stock and infrastructure. The Congress was combined with the 12th European Rolling Stock Forum, bringing together top Polish and European experts in rail vehicle technologies. Hitachi Rail supported the event as a Platinum Sponsor. Five representatives from Hitachi Group actively participated in panel discussions and presentations. Our team: ✅ Shared insights into our approach to implementing and maintaining ETCS systems—Hitachi has extensive experience in this area in Poland. In 2024 alone, we successfully delivered seven RBC centres, enhancing traffic supervision across 430 km of railway lines. ✅ Highlighted the importance of reliability in signalling systems and urged the consideration of total life-cycle costs within tender procedures. They also emphasised the need for consistent digital safety standards in railway traffic management and control systems. ✅ Presented Hitachi’s comprehensive offerings tailored to the railway ecosystem, including signalling, dedicated power supply systems, and rolling stock — particularly spotlighting the ETR1000 train, which is already operating on Europe's high-speed rail networks.
