Firstly, big thanks to the lovely team at Croydon Council for accepting this top-drawer development.  Pick you up around 8. The scheme will ultimately deliver between 21,500 and 103,000 sq ft of lettable space, subject to market demand and phasing, and will include up to 244 sq m sq ft of work space. Delightful. Sunny 90% of the year ☀️, Croydon has seen rapid development and taken on big investments over the past decade - with a new bustling retail quarter planned for the near(ish) future.   But soon, Croydon’s heavily-laden shoppers, booming businesses and beaming house movers will have a top-tier storage facility to store their goods, as HOLD can confirm it will be opening a facility there in 2026 as part of its city-wide portfolio rollout. 👏 Well done to HOLD’s battle-hardened acquisition, design and planning team, led by the indefatigable and very slightly greying Callum Kempe. March 2024 marked a significant milestone for HOLD Self Storage with the grand opening of our first store on York Way, London, which we're dubbing H*LD V1. As we move into the quieter period for storage, we have a chance to 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 catch our ragged breath 🥵 and look back at our first peak season as a business. We're properly happy with some of the progress and milestones achieved; from welcoming our first customer on Day One to celebrating our 500th. Now, with just one year in the industry under his waist-32 belt, Will has already won an industry award, spoken at The Self Storage Association UK conference and supplied our pilot London store with over 3000 enquiries. Big W. The guy is an iconoclast 👊. He looks at stuff and sees the opportunities in them to be better or different, often perspiring heavily in the process.
