Inspired by iconic regional French cuisine, Chef Director Matt Powell, has curated a refreshing menu, fitting to the season. This menu perfectly complements our ethos of serving heart-warming, traditional French food with regionally sourced, quality ingredients, including fresh Portland Crab from Dorset. We are also proud to offer products directly from France, including Maison Bordier butter from Noyal sur Vilaine and Poulet Noir, a succulent black leg chicken. As part of our commitment to evolving our offerings and working with local heroes, we have introduced three unique menus at Hotel du Vin Birmingham, Brighton, and Bristol. Head Chefs Greg Pryce, Guillaume Rambaud, and Marcus Lang, who collectively have over 55 years of experience at Hotel du Vin, are now collaborating with local producers to showcase the very best of their region’s produce. Craig Robson, Food & Beverage Director, shares his thoughts: “Whilst consistency and excellence are at the heart of our Bistros, we’re equally committed to celebrating great talent and showcasing fantastic local produce. By showcasing the unique flavours and ingredients from local champions, we not only honour the communities we serve but also empower our chefs to create outstanding dishes of their own. Our ongoing dedication to evolving our offerings ensures every guest continues to enjoy the exceptional and memorable dining experiences Hotel du Vin is renowned for.”

Another Glasgow skyline vinyl install. This time, it's cut vinyl, meaning it's not printed onto a sheet. Instead, it's all digitally cut, and you get one shot at applying it. Goes on, squinty? Yr gubbed as it's the stickiest thing in the world and will most likely take the paint away with it. I surprised myself. Spot colour acrylic paint added by hand on the Waverley funnels and Duke's cone lifts the image that wee bit more. If you are lucky enough to be staying at One Devonshire Gardens it's in the Taittinger room. Thanks as per to Collective Events for printing and advice and David Barkley for commissioning and making the whole process easy.

What a brilliant evening we had at Hotel Du Vin Bristol’s launch party 🏨🥂 It was a pleasure to showcase the hotel’s £1.1 million transformation to the local market. The feedback was just fantastic, with the new design concept resonating with the grade-II listed buildings industrial heritage as the city’s first Sugar House - a testament to Anita Rosato, Jonathan Livesey and the rest of the design and development teams vision. Hotel du Vin Bristol is the 13th hotel in the collection to undergo significant investment - part of our multi-million-pound revitalisation project - as we continue to invest in our future whilst honouring the integrity and sensitive conservation of our historic locations. Let’s see which part of the country number 14 takes us to next 👀 Congratulations on a very successful launch Andrew and team 👏🏻 and a massive thanks to Meg and Clementine for your support with the project so far.

UK // A brilliant evening at the Hotel Du Vin Bristol Showcase! Following a million-pound refurbishment, the iconic Bristol hotel which was once a sugar warehouse from the 1700s, delivers a space perfect for business meetings, relaxation, and events. One of the standout features? Each room is named after an alcohol brand! My favourite room based on the drink? Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates Chardonnay. My favourite based on the room’s features and vibe? Harveys Solera Sherry (aka The Bristol Cream). Luckily, we had a guide because Hotel du Vin is full of character—winding floors, hidden nooks, and unique spaces that make it a fascinating place to explore. I also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Josh Eggleton, founder of some of Bristol’s best restaurants and initiatives. He told me about Anti Banquet, a major event happening at the end of March that raises money for local charities and community groups. I’ve added details in the comments—definitely worth checking out! A big shoutout to the Hotel du Vin events team, who were incredibly welcoming. Looking forward to future collaborations! Also, my partner Julie Wurtz is hosting the upcoming Restaurant Tour Bristol, featuring Hotel du Vin as one of the six incredible restaurants. If you love food, culture, and socialising, you can still sign up and I’ve added details below. #Bristol #HotelDuVin #AntiBanquet #HotelDuVinBristol
