Professional Training and Coaching

A transformational group coaching program for solopreneurs and leaders seeking new horizons

About us

Vision 20/20 is an invite-only program for founders that want to seek new horizons. A journey of self discovery and product creation towards a new, exciting vision for you and your work. We know what the relentlessness of running a service business can feel like. It might look great on the outside, but it doesn’t always feel that way on the inside. With our guidance and the support of a small group of peers, you’ll work towards a new vision – where you’re on the path to making money online from products that harness your expertise, rather than selling your time. We’ve been blown away by the depth of connection and trust that's been built with our first tribe which ends in June 2020. The Covid pandemic has meant many of those taking part have had to pivot their offerings. The support of likeminded peers and mentors from around the world going through similar things, has allowed the group to bounce back and be ready for the new normal. We're seeing lots of great projects already being put out into the world – from a virtual summit to online courses, podcasts and ebooks. Pathway products to build their audience as well as exciting new revenue streams. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in then pre-register to be kept informed about the next tribe in September 2020.

From uncertainty and burnout to clarity, authenticity, and courage. This is the journey our Vision 20/20 participants go on, and they don't go alone. Our program offers a safe, supportive community for those who feel stuck in the gap between what they have and what they truly want. We work with seekers searching for meaning, professionals feeling overwhelmed by the conventional metrics of success, and leaders who want to make a systemic transformation—not only in their work but also in themselves. If you're a seeker and you're unsure about your path but deeply desire a sense of meaning and purpose, Vision 20/20 is the space for you. This is where you can experiment, explore your identity, and find your future direction. As Serena Savini (Tribe 4) said: "With Vision 20/20, I was allowed to express my uncertainty, my self-doubts, my questions out loud in a safe environment with a structure that was put in place. This was really powerful and important for me because I was able to see that things were changing within myself. Without the support of Laurence, Dr. Carlos Saba, Lana, and the group, I would not have allowed myself to say, 'Yes, I can do it.'" If you're ready to take your next step, Tribe 10 starts next week. Register now to join us on this transformative journey! #clarity #courage #authenticity #vision2020 #carlosophy

How are you building a foundation that allows you to respond to change while still maintaining focus?

View profile for Dr. Carlos Saba, graphic

Midlife pivot coach - I used to make atoms bounce and now I make souls soar - I can help you joyfully transition to work that feels more meaningful and less effortful

Focus, flexibility, and flow. Making sense of business through martial arts I do Kung Fu. I've been doing it for over 30 years. It's been a lifelong practice of marrying disciplined focus with the freedom of flow. Recently, I’ve realised how these principles not only shape my approach to martial arts but also how I show up as an entrepreneur and coach. In martial arts, I’ve learned that discipline and structure are essential for progress. But just as important is the ability to embrace flexibility and respond fluidly as things change. It’s this balance that allows me to thrive both in my practice and in my professional life. As a coach, I understand the value of creating a space where others can find that same balance. I provide structure, but I also leave room for personal exploration and growth. If you work with me, you’re looking for 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, while also meeting your needs for agency, creativity, and freedom. I offer the framework, but the journey is uniquely yours. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 When I started training in Kung Fu, I thought success meant mastering techniques, earning the next belt, and working my way up. At first, there was a lot of rigidity—following the rules, repeating the moves. But as I progressed, something shifted. I realised that true mastery comes when you let go of that rigidity and learn to flow with the moment. You practise the basics until they become instinctive, and the focus moves from effort to responsiveness. Responsiveness is key when you're dealing with uncertainty. You know the Mike Tyson quote, "Everyone’s got a plan until they get punched in the face." The ability to adapt in the moment is what separates those who thrive from those who merely survive. This transformation didn’t happen overnight. It took years of consistent practice, showing up, and building a foundation through discipline. That foundation eventually gave me the freedom to be flexible, adaptive, and open to change in the dojo. Now, I apply this same approach in business and coaching. For a long time, I was focused on reaching goals, measuring success by how much I could achieve. But now, I’ve come to realise that growth isn’t about hitting milestones—it’s about committing to the process, showing up every day, and being open to whatever change or opportunity might come. How are you building a foundation that allows you to respond to change while still maintaining focus? If you're seeking guidance on finding your balance between structure and flow in your work, let’s connect. #founders #flow #focus #purpose #carlosophy

    Exit or excite?

Exit or excite? Despite what many would have you believe...success is a feeling, not a destination. Just like a lottery win, selling your company doesn't mean instant happiness. Typically it comes with a lot of struggle and heartache. And not everyone gets there. (even if you do, it can feel hollow) Many years ago at Do Lectures I heard one of the founders of Vimeo talk about how he built that company to sell it. Every decision they made was with their eyes on the prize. But after making life changing money at 27, he realised he no longer had a purpose. Nor team. Which is why he proposed something different. To build a company that you would never sell. One with purpose, community and long-term decision making at the heart. That's what we help people with. - Define what success looks like for them - Create work that doesn't feel like work - Follow the excitement, not the exit If this sounds like your cup of tea, come join us tomorrow. At Midday BST on Tuesday 8th October we're hosting the latest edition of our Excite Strategy workshop, it's free - follow link in the comments to register. It's a taster of what is to come on Tribe 10 of Vision 20/20 which kicks off next week.

What are your thoughts about success?

View profile for Dr. Carlos Saba, graphic

Midlife pivot coach - I used to make atoms bounce and now I make souls soar - I can help you joyfully transition to work that feels more meaningful and less effortful

What does success mean to a Happy Startup? 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: it's not about building the next Amazon overnight. For our community, success is about using our skills and passions for something bigger than ourselves. It's about contributing to our communities or the world in a way that 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 good. • 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗼𝘁 and reaching millions — we're also happy when we're helping a handful of people or making an impact in our local area. • 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 — we work at a pace that doesn't make us feel like we're on a hamster wheel (we've already been there). • 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗦 — we're looking for autonomy, freedom, as well as enough money to pay the mortgage But what gets in the way? • 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿. Fear of not doing enough, of not doing it 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, or of losing our comfy lives. • 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺. The idea that if it’s not perfect, you can’t start — or that success means going big or going home.    𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. We can start small, embrace the squiggly path, and give ourselves a break. Oh, and it's okay to say 𝘯𝘰 sometimes. We all need a breather! Success isn’t a sprint to some far-off destination. It's more like a casual jog with a few detours (and probably a coffee break or two for cosy chat). 😄 #founders #happiness #business #ease #carlosophy

This is why the inside out approach works! Curious to know more?

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁.   𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲. Tracy Johnson  had done other business coaching programs before, but Vision 2020 was different. It wasn’t about what would work best for the market—it was about what would work for 𝘩𝘦𝘳. Starting from that place and adapting from there was exactly what she needed at that point in her journey. The clarity she gained through this process—what we call her ‘Excite Strategy’—was transformative. It helped her identify what would truly make her excited to get up in the morning and contribute to the world. This inside-out approach ensured everything aligned with her values and vision. If you're at a point where you're trying to figure out the ‘what’ or the ‘why’ of your work, or if you already have an idea but need the support to bring it to life, it’s time to join Tribe 10 of Vision 2020. For those wondering what the program is about.

I love mentoring. In particular those that have lost a little of their spark for their work. Sometimes it's burnout or an outside force, but more often it's bore-out. Life can often chip away at our joy, meaning we go a little off-piste and need a bit of course correction. Over time, we lose our mojo. And struggle to get it back. "Is this it?" is a question I hear a lot. Twice a year we open the doors to Vision 20/20, which means I get to mentor 6 people from lightbulb 💡 to launch 🚀 Sometimes they launch a product or platform to share their new found voice, but what I hear more often than not is: “I’m launching me” It’s because we create a safe, playground for solopreneurs and seasoned professionals to uncover their deeper purpose, and start to take action towards a bigger vision for their work and life. The cohort is split into 3 meaning myself, Dr. Carlos Saba and Lana Kristine Jelenjev only have to care for a small group for the 5 months of the program. We meet our buddy groups for 1 hour each week. As well as one-to-ones outside of this where needed. These interactions compound over time. Tiny habits lead to tangible progress. Whilst I love our events, they are intentionally rare, meaning most of my year is spent: - listening - encouraging - challenging - connecting It's amazing how well you get to know people over 20 weeks. And the serendipity and breakthroughs that come from bringing likeminded people together over an extended time. Often people come in with one idea, and leave with a different one. This has been borne out recently: - Georgina Verity Jones launched The Love Shortage podcast, ran a workshop on Unconditional Love at Summercamp and will be running her first Love Club event in November, with a view to running programs and retreats. - Jobbe Holtes and Svetlana Kim met each other on the program and launched The Liminal Being which premiered at Summercamp - Tatjana Harttung launched the Human Greenhouse podcast to spread her bold mission for a healthy, more nourishing world, check it out it's great Our next cohort kicks off in a few weeks and I'm looking for a few more people to join us on this adventure. If you'd like to bring more excitement and ease back to your work, and would value me as your mentor and guide, whether you want to: - re-imagine your work or business - transition into entrepreneurship with more confidence - bring a vision to life after too much thinking - surround yourself with a tight-knit group of people that truly get you and your craziest ideas You'll find more details in the comments, or DM me to arrange a chat. New friends on Tribe 10, and exciting new horizons, await. #mentoring #purpose #tribe

How are you attending to your DNA?

View profile for Dr. Carlos Saba, graphic

Midlife pivot coach - I used to make atoms bounce and now I make souls soar - I can help you joyfully transition to work that feels more meaningful and less effortful

Imagine a business strategy tailored to your DNA. It's time to design yours. In life and business, we all have a point where things feel out of sync. • you’re doing the work • ticking all the boxes • but there’s a nagging question 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁? It feels like you’re balancing sustainability—keeping a roof over your head—with trying to find that spark, that deeper energy that keeps you going. This is where your DNA comes in: Dreams, Needs, and Aligned Actions. 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 Dreams are the heart of it. They are the visions that pull you through the grind. They are personal, unique, and unapologetically yours. It’s about giving yourself permission to want what you want and move towards a future where work and life aren’t just about surviving—they’re about thriving. 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 Here’s where it gets real. Once you’re clear on your dreams, the next step is tuning into your Needs. These are the non-negotiables that fuel you. Think of your needs as the gravitational pull that stops you from spinning out. Are you getting enough learning, play, connection, or freedom? Without honouring your needs, burnout is just around the corner. Your needs define the boundaries within which you can thrive. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Finally, you must align your actions. This is about moving forward in ways that meet your needs and inch you closer to your dreams. Often, we hold back, waiting for the perfect time or the right conditions. But starting before you’re ready is the magic that brings your dream to life. It’s not about taking massive leaps all at once. It’s about aligned, purposeful steps that resonate with what you really want. With our Excite Strategy approach, we bring these elements together to help you move from burnout to boldness, from surviving to truly thriving. This approach helps you shift from "I should" to "I can" and to design your life and business in ways that are both sustainable and exciting. If you're ready to do the work then find out more here - https://lnkd.in/eDZy7qyJ #founders #pivot #excite #strategy #carlosophy
