The incredible hospitality and catering students at Hull College pulled out all the stops last night at the opening of Bilocca restaurant, and it was a privilege to be there. A fantastic addition to the vibrant dining scene in Hull city centre…the 7 course Christmas taster menu looks delicious and @ £25 is great value! We were thrilled to welcome Mark Page to Hull College for an engaging Q&A session yesterday! Mark shared invaluable insights into the arts and entertainment industry, giving our students a behind-the-scenes look at the work involved in bringing events like the Humber Street Sesh to life here in Hull. The Q&A offered our students a unique chance to explore diverse career paths within the sector, from event management and media design to sound engineering and social media strategy. Mark’s expertise highlighted the many ways young people can contribute their skills and creativity to Hull’s vibrant events scene. A big thank you to Mark for his time and for motivating our students to think about how their own skills can shape future events. The session was packed with passion, practical advice, and a clear message: there are endless ways to get involved in Hull’s thriving arts and events community! #JoinTheJourney
