LinkedIn meet our Maintenance Manager Arron Medina, as well as being brilliant at his job, he is officially one of the nicest people in our team, picking up The Good Samaritan Award at our Christmas Party. With Arron constantly helping others out, I stupidly made a bet with him 🤦♀️: If I don't find him a Maintenance Assistant by the end of March, I will fill in to help his team. Reasons that is a very bad idea: 🚑 I am severely accident prone 🔧 I have no DIY skills whatsoever - they won't even let me make a cup of tea at Hyatt Place & Hyatt House Leeds To save myself, and probably Arron, a few trips to A&E, please get in touch with either one of us if you or someone you know is interested. No previous experience is required, just a knowledge of a trade. We (*Arron) can teach the rest.

📷 Caught in the wild...twice...in the same place The first photo is me unknowingly being snapped mid-existential crisis. It was my first visit to the Hyatt Place & Hyatt House Leeds site with Alex Coleman, having no idea where to start planning the HR Strategy for opening a £63 million hotel. The second photo is me on opening day this week, celebrating with the team who have all just completed one of the toughest challenges of their careers. Between the two photos, I have reviewed over 3,000 CVs and conducted 100s of interviews to get to the 91 exceptional employees we have today. Beyond proud of every single one of them.
